Rimmel Fix and Perfect Review

Rimmel Fix and Perfect primer review

Let’s Chat About…. makeup primers! Today I am sharing with you a Rimmel Fix and Perfect review. It’s a new primer at the drugstore that I am really liking.

If you have never used a primer before, basically it is a product you put on before you apply your foundation to make sure your foundation doesn’t sweat off or wear away throughout the day. It is definitely more of an “extra” rather then a makeup must have but since I started using them I’ve been too spoiled to go back to not using one!

I have two drugstore primer favorites, the Rimmel Fix and Perfect and the Loreal Magic Perfecting Base (see it in action in this tutorial). I haven’t tried that many non-drugstore branded primers so I don’t have a favorite high-end primer. See my thoughts and a demo of the Rimmel Fix and Perfect in the video above.

Which are your favorites? I want you all to discuss in the comments below your favorites or least favorites and write any questions you may have. If you can answer someones question, go ahead! Let’s keep this like an open forum.

Let’s chat about primers!

I haven't really tried any primers since I don't wear much face makup but that one seems cool. Oh, and I love the hair. I hope you do a tutorial :D

I've never actually used a primer, might look into it.

the color of the rimmel primer has always turned me away from purchasing.

i've been using the avon magix oil mattifying compact as a primer, but i don't like the smell or the way it works.

i think i'll be trying the mary kay foundation primer. i've liked it in the past when i've tried it.

I've only tried one primer, Smashbox colour correcting primer. I do like it but I'm undecided on whether or not it's worth the price because it is pretty expensive… but I've heard a lot of bad reviews about other primers and I really can't complain about this one, apart from the price… :P I've been looking out for this Rimmel primer but it doesn't seem to be available here in Ireland.. think I'll try L'Oreal next! Though I will miss my smashbox…. VERY undecided lol

I use a primer from Ingrid Cosmetics, I don't think it's a very well known brand but I like it :)
    Might try this one though…

Not everyone needs one, honestly. I think it is more important for big events where you will be out a long period of time, or if you get sweaty easily, o if you have oily skin. But for me, I just like how primers even out my pores.

I haven't tried anything from Mary Kay. I've been meaning too for awhile. What are your favorite products from them?

Haha, I know that feeling. I have a few products that are way to expensive but I really like them!
