DIY Hot Oil Hair Treatment

Easy DIY hot oil hair treatments for long hair

Welcome to another DIY project Kind Friends! Here I’ll show you how to make a really easy DIY hot oil hair treatment that is great for repairing damaged hair. I was inspired to do this treatment from an article I read on Daily Glow but I altered it a little.

Video tutorial:

Ingredients:

  1. Three tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  2. Three tablespoons of Canola oil
  3. One or two tablespoons of conditioner

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients together
  2. Heat up the oil by using the microwave, a blow dryer, or putting a hot oil on your head.
  3. Leave on for at least half an hour before you wash out

Doing hair treatments at least twice a month helps hair quality and improves hair growth as well. Also, it’s just a relaxing time to spend with yourself.

Enjoy your silky hair!

I always add a conditioner too! I like to make the oils smell a little better, and it is def easier to work with! I love doing oil treatments to my hair! Just make sure you don't overheat the oil because it can scorch your hair! You just want them warm =)

This worked womders on my hair, and the conditiner really helped :) To heat up the oil, I put all the ingredients in a ziplock bag, and put some warm water into a bowl, and put the ziplock full of ingretients into the bowl of hot water, and voila! Hot oil treatment :)
