The 30 Day Skin Transformation

Want to transform your skin in 30 days? Me too! This is where Naturopathica is going to come in. I was contacted earlier this month to try out their new skin care regimen kits and see my 30 day skin transformation. My kit, for normal to dry skin, says that it “improves the health and appearance of the skin by reducing inflammation, correcting moisture loss and enhancing elasticity.” I was really excited to give this a shot since I really loved their Vitamin C Revitalizing Complex from my former skincare routine.

Skincare kits: Normal to DryNormal to OilyAge Defense

Here are all of the products in my kit and their descriptions:

Oat Facial Polish: Soothing Oats and Jojoba Beads gently sweep away dry, flaky skin, removing impurities and leaving the face soft and radiant.

Chamomile Cleansing Milk: A soothing blend of German Chamomile and Rose gently cleanses and calms dry, sensitive skin, leaving the face smooth and soft.

Plant Stem Cell Serum: A concentrated serum, designed to significantly slow down the aging of the cells due to inflammation caused by UVA photo-damage and oxidative stress.

Beech Tree and Ginseng Moisturizer: This nourishing moisturizer blends antioxidant rich Beech Tree and Goji Berry with firming complex of Ginseng to help protect skin from free radicals.

I don’t know if I will be able to see a huge difference in just 30 days but I thought that just in case I would include a before picture for comparison…. Eek!

My regimen:

Every morning I will wash my face with the cleansing milk and follow with the moisturizer. At night, I will wash my face with the cleansing milk and my Clarisonic Mia, apply the serum, and then the moisturizer. Then every Tuesday and Thursday I will use the oat exfoliater in the morning.

I recently started using the Clarisonic Mia so my skin may improve a little on it’s own, screwing with the results of the skincare transformation. I can’t suddenly stop using the Mia though because then my skin may go through the purging phase again when I restart. Also, only being able to use these products messes with my living minimally campaign to get rid of my old skincare products before I buy new ones…. So, I’ve decided that to be able to continue to use other products I have store up, I won’t use the Naturopathica products on my neck or décolletage. I could also use my other skincare cleansers as body wash, etc, so I can still continue.

First impressions:

This morning was the first time I used the skincare kit. I washed my face with the cleansing milk and put on the beerch moisturizer. I wasn’t a fan of how the cleanser smelled but it was very gentle on my skin. The moisturizer was surprisingly thick, smelled nice, and in one pump I was able to spread across my whole face.

I can’t wait to keep going with these products! I will be reporting back with my progress.

If you want to try the 30 day skin transformation, check out Naturopathica. They also have a coupon for free shipping with the code NY2012.

Isn’t that the best thing about skincare kits? I love trying new things but it is hard to commit to a full product. Keep me posted on how it helps your skin!
