Shown in the video above are my favorite skincare products and a puppy cameo! Skincare has always been one of my favorite beauty topics!
The first two products I mentioned is the Yes to Cucumbers Gentle Cleanser and the Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser. I love both of these for basically the same reasons, they don’t hurt my eyes and they are free of many potential irritants. Yes to Cucumbers has slight fragrances so if you need fragrance free, go for Cetaphil. Perfect for those of us with sensitive skin. I’ve been battling with my sensitive skin a lot the past few years, click here to see a video explaining my experiences with Eczema. I plan on doing an update soon to let you know how it is affecting me currently.
The last cleanser mentioned has been my favorite since October when I first tried out the product for review, the X Out Wash-In Treatment (c/o). I love it because it has really cleared out my acne. I’m so impressed with the results, I don’t think my skin has been this clear since I was a child. See all of my posts about X Out so far here.
For my favorite moisturizers, I love using Cetaphil’s moisturizer and Extra Virgin Olive Oil for the body and for the face I love Naturopathica’s Beech Tree and Ginseng Moisturizer (c/o). Naturopathica’s moisturizer feels so luxurious and thick without the drawback of clogging your pores.
I will be doing an updated skincare routine in a few months. I’m just weeding out some products I’ve accumulated over the years so I can save a little money and be a little greener. I have more information on that here.
For disclosure purposes, I have received products from Yes to Cucumbers (although not in over a year, I’ve purchased the cleanser a few times since then), Naturopathica, and X Out. This doesn’t change my opinion in any way. I wouldn’t keep using products I didn’t like. I just wanted to make sure I’m entirely clear, full disclosure is really important to me.
My often rude but cute dog Pinky says hello! He was voiced by my silly fiance, Chris.
