I spoke a few months ago about my new love for natural deodarants. Who wants more chemicals?
For some reason my body likes to go through transition periods. When I started using the Crystal Essence Natural Deodarant I smelled really bad for weeks. Now, you may think “It can’t be that bad” – well, you’re wrong. My arm pits smelled like laundry that you left wet in the wash for too long. Thankfully that was a phase and the smell went away so then the Crystal deodorant was fine. I guess my underarms went through a chemical detox?
I’m almost out of my Crystal deodorant so I jumped at the opportunity to try another natural brand, Lemongrass Spa. I was given the Cucumber Natural Deodorant and Baby Massage Oil. Now I smell like cucumbers and cake!
When I first tried the deodorant I was really annoyed. My body wanted to go through a transitional phase again. Thankfully this time it wasn’t long, only a week. Do any of you natural deodorant users face the same problem when you switch brands? The consistency of the Cucumber Natural Deodorant is much nicer then the liquid-like Crystal Essence and I find the cucumber smell really refreshing. I plan on purchasing it myself when I run out, it retails for $8 at SpaHottie.com.
As for the Baby Massage Oil, it seriously smells like cake. The ingredients list is full of essential oils and moisturizing oils so it makes my feet and hands very happy at night. Since I’ve started working from home and running I feel like I need massages constantly. This massage oil retails for $13 at SpaHottie.com.
