Today I have a review of the Dr. Jart Water Fuse BB Cream (From my November Favorites). This product is a moisturizer, sunscreen (SPF 25), and a treatment serum that also minimizes the need for foundation and concealer because it blurs imperfections.
Here is the product in action. As a disclaimer, I am wearing foundation primer, eyebrow gel, and lip balm in the before picture.
For the first application, I used a dime sized amount of product (as shown in the first picture). I applied the product with my hands. For the second application, I put on another layer with my hands of the same amount.
In the picture the change isn’t as easy to see, which surprised me. Whenever I apply it I feel I look much more awake and refreshed (with a dewy glow) but it doesn’t exactly translate on camera. This amount of coverage is fine for me but when my skin is a little more problematic I do use a concealer. I don’t use powder that often but it would help if you want the product to last longer. By the end of the day the BB cream does wear off, making my hyper pigmentation and pink tone more apparent again.
Overall, I would recommend the Dr. Jart Water Fuse BB Cream for dry to normal skin types that want to look more refreshed and dewy that don’t need much coverage. I would not recommend this product for oily skin (unless very heavily set with powder and with oil absorbing sheets handy) because of the dewy look.
