Physician’s Formula Super BB Cream Review

Super BB Cream Physician's Formula Review

Physician's Formula Super BB Cream Review

I am almost out of my Dr. Jart Water Fuse BB Cream so I decided to try a drugstore alternative. With cruelty-free drugstore options being tight that left me with one of my go-to brands, Physician’s Formula. Below is my video review and demo of the Physician’s Formula Super BB Cream.

In summary:

I hate having to shake it up so rigorously to keep the product from separating. Also, for a BB cream it is not that moisturizing (from what I’ve heard that is common for drugstore varieties). However, it is also surprisingly long lasting and has some build-able coverage. A larger shade range would be good but the “light” shade does blend in pretty well with my skin tone (although a little more orange). Concealers apply well on top of the product. The Physician’s Formula Super BB Cream applies the best with a wet beauty blender.

Even with it’s faults, I still like the product. It lasts all day with minimal touch ups. The verdict is still out as to whether or not I’ll purchase it again.

What is your favorite BB cream? Have you tried many from the drugstore?

My favorite BB Cream would have to Missha’s ;) great review.. it’s a little intimidating to look at the shade from the tube!

I’ve heard a lot of things about Missha! The color is pretty intimidating.

I just got an amazing deal on this (with mail in rebate it came to like $4) so I decided to test it out. Except now I feel like I need a beauty blender!

I think most things apply better with the Beauty Blender but if you wet a generic cosmetic sponge from the drug store it also works well. You’ll just have to replace it every 2-3 uses because they don’t clean up as well.

I’m thinking I might purchase a knock-off beauty blender. I’ve seen a few videos with them now and they seem to do a much better job than your fingers. Or see if I can find a deal on a real one. I also have oily skin so probably better off not rubbing my fingers all over it more than necessary!
