Tiny DIY Inspirations in my Office Space

Inspirational work space

We now have a spare room (with a lot of stuff still in it) so I took over a little corner with a tiny old desk to call my own. You have no idea how excited I was about this!

I’m slowly upgrading the desk to be more motivating and inspiring. How you ask? By making a tiny motivational picture out of a birthday card and starting to sand my desk so I can stain it with coffee to make it darker. I really want my desk to be more wood-like. It is a very slow process so far.

What little things are inspiring you lately? Are you adding in any tiny DIY projects to your weekend?

Your tiny frame is so cute! I think you did a great job with the drawing. My twin sister and I had a really fun DIY desk growing up, it was a beat up old white desk we shared, and we took the drawers out and collaged all the fronts of them with our magazines. It’s pretty funny to look at years later because some of the images are definitely dated :) A coffee stain is a bit more classy haha! I will have to check out some more of your DIY tutorials, the eggshell vase is gorgeous. I get all my eggs during the summer from a local farm though so they are brown not sure how well they’d dye but maybe I can do something with them anyway :)

I love the mix of things your blog is, DIY and beauty and other things, it’s very inspiring for me as I carve out my own little place on the interwebs :) Thank you again for your blog visit! Means a lot to me :)
