Dear Dogeared

I first heard about your jewelry when it was on sale at Hautelook.com in March of 2012. I purchased the “It’s the Little Things” necklace (far right of picture). Then when it was back on sale March 2013 I bought the “Karma Lotus” necklace (middle). Afterward I purchased two other necklaces during Christmas time, one for my Mom and the other for my boss. On my birthday this past August I requested the Soldered Wishbone necklace (far left). It’s safe to say I’m in love.

The fact that everything is hand crafted with love and kindness in California makes these pieces even more special to me. They are so delicate and unique. These pictures really don’t do them justice. I can honestly say I’ll wear these necklaces for the rest of my life.

I asked for the Soldered Wishbone necklace for a particular reason… As a symbol. I purchased the other two just because they are gorgeous, to be honest. But this wishbone necklace is important to me in so many ways. When I put it on I made a promise to myself to never sit ideally by just hoping and wishing for a different life. I took this necklace and told myself to work for my dreams:

Be as you wish to seem. – Socrates

It takes as much energy to wish as it does to plan. – Eleanor Roosevelt

A dream without a plan is just a wish. – Katherine Paterson

Hello, world! I’ve got some plans for you. Thank you Dogeared for helping me keep my dreams close to my heart.
