DIY Clothesline Photo Display

DIY clothesline of memories - unique photo display

When I started planning our move I knew that I wanted to do a photo display like this. So precious! This was my intention when I got the Printstagram prints.

After we set up our media and bookcase area (I organized mostly by genre and combined both books and movies together if they had film adaptions) I realized that the space above my TV (we still need to conceal all those cords) was awkwardly empty. Thus, I added a clothesline photo display. I think it really compliments the blank space.

In our bedroom we also have a clothesline but I hung it in between both walls. I think it looks really special this way. For the bedroom I chose more romantic photos of Chris and I while in the living room the photos are more family based.

In the video above I show you how I put up the photo display in my living room. It was a really easy process! All of my supplies are from Michael’s Arts and Crafts.

  1. Using tape, add the sting to the wall. Check the placement from far away.
  2. Add the photos and adjust the placement. The photos and clothespins will make the display heavier and droop lower.
  3. Place a nail where the tape was, take off the tape, and wrap the excess string around the nail. Knot in place.
  4. Enjoy!

Let me know in the comments what home DIY you’d like to see next or which one you have been dying to try! I’d love some more ideas.
