Yoga Timelapse with my Puppy + My Fitness Routine

active shape tea review and yoga routine

I’m trying to get back into my yoga practice again. It feels so amazing yet it comes and goes in my life, I’m not sure why I let that happen. I’m working on changing that as one of my New Years Resolutions, along with my regular fitness routine. It irritates me how my fitness routine goes from super active to very slow every few weeks. Being consistent is very important to me so let’s hope I can break this habit.

In the video below I followed one of the routines from The Complete Guide to Yoga by Tara Stiles and Mike Taylor. Mustache joined me towards the end and I was able get him to do a stretch!

Do any of you try to get your dog to do yoga?

This is the third day in a row I’ve done some yoga. Lets hope I can keep it up! Several times a week Chris and I are also running. I’m really worried about our Disney half-marathon (thirteen miles) in February. I feel like we are so behind! We are no way close to my goal of ten mile runs before our February trip.

One thing I started doing to help keep my energy up for all these workouts is using Active Shape Tea (c/o). I have never used a loose-leaf tea before so it was a bit of a confusing process at first.  Once I got used to it thought I really started to enjoy it. Also, my Mom gave me her tea infuser which was so much easier than straining my tea. Don’t Mom’s seem to have two of everything? It’s crazy.

The Active Shape Tea is meant to help get your body going with some sustainable energy. I don’t know if it’s my imagination or not (it isn’t mentioned on the website) but I feel like it also helps with my metabolism and digestion. Something different goes on in my tummy after drinking this tea, I just can’t pinpoint what.

I’m really glad I was given the opportunity to try this tea because it actually helps me keep in line with my workouts. For optimum results you are supposed to drink it an hour before your workout, which promotes me to actually plan when I’m going to workout.

If the Active variety isn’t right for you, Shape Tea also has Relax and Cleanse.

Do you have a favorite tea? Does it help aid your day?

Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. I’d love to get some other recommendations.
