Cheers to a beautiful morning!
About two to three days a week (the rest of the week I’m in smoothie city), I’ve been using this energizing mocktail from Kiss Me Organics green tea powder (c/o). This drink is simple and delicious!
This organic tea concoction gives a fun kick to my morning orange juice, it makes it taste almost spicey.
Matcha green tea has over 137 times the antioxidants of green tea. Can you imagine that? It also provides a more longer lasting energy without that crash later on. The difference between green tea and matcha green tea, I believe, is that they are cultivated differently. Matcha is grown in the shade instead of the sun and then ground into a fine powder at harvest. According to about.com, matcha also helps lower cholesterol. My family has a lot of blood issues so this really encourages me to add matcha to my weekly routine.
For the full recipe, here is the matcha green tea recipe book. It’s free for if you are curious but you will need green tea for all of the recipes. I doubt I’ll be trying the muffins (green tea muffins?! I just can’t picture it) but I’m excited to try more of the drink varieties.
Do you drink tea regularly? I’d love to know which kinds you love. I’m very interested in trying more!
Note: I’m currently having some trouble getting into my Blog O’ Yum Tumblr account. I hope to start posting in there again soon.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
