Now, let’s get serious.
Sex is an important part of every adult’s life. As such, I feel like it should be entered into with some care. In the below video I talk about my opinion on when you should/should not have sex and then about the age I was when I lost my virginity.
Disclaimer: I am in no way judging those that have had multiple partners or don’t follow the same lifestyle that I do. To be frank, I don’t think any of my friends practice what I’ve told you in this video. What you decide to do with your body is a personal decision.
- Would you be willing to have this person’s accidental baby?
- Would this person be there for you if an accident were to happen?
- Can you have a mature conversation with them about sex?
- Do you have protection?
For the risk of sounding incredibly cheesy, I think you should also have deep feelings for this person. You can’t get your virginity back so it should be given to someone who deserves it.
As for my personal experience, I lost my virginity to my fiance when I was a sophomore in high school. I in no way regret that I shared this with him but at the same time I do think I was too young to understand what I was doing. Later on we did talk more about it but I think we should have talked more seriously about sex before entering into it. For more on my thoughts on this, make sure you watch the above video.
What is your opinion? What kind of “Tough Topics” videos would you like me to do in the future?
