Hi Kind Friends!
My wedding shower was last weekend and boy was it a blast. I wasn’t sure what to expect since I hadn’t been to a wedding shower or bridal shower before. I was a little nervous at first but the even as a whole was wonderful.
Before I get into all the details of the shower (post coming next week) I wanted to share with you how my maid of honor Marie, my Mom, and myself put it together. That sentence is misleading. Marie did almost everything with some help from my Mom. I only helped for one day, ha! Here are some photos and a run down from the one day I helped out.
Everything shown here was from Michael’s Arts and Crafts and Party City.
We had our shower at the 94th Aero Squadron, which in and of itself is a beautiful location. The only thing we added for decor was some floral arrangements on the tables. The purple ones in particular look incredibly realistic.
For the party favors Marie purchased these cute jars for candy.
We put together the arrangements and the candy with a little help of some vanilla vodka and coke. Yum!
Our stomachs were getting pretty grumbly so we took a break in between projects to eat at Novecento. Here are our delicious meals. Their french fries are to-die-for! I’d like to go again soon.
If you are reading this, can you tell me your favorite restaurant? I’m looking for new places to try!
Stay tuned for a post with pictures and video from the event.
