Before we get into the post, these previews are pictures of the professional photos using my iPhone and taken with limited light. So forgive the quality! My scanner broke at the most inopportune time so I don’t have high quality scans to show you for Wedding Week. I’ll update this post when I come back from the honeymoon and can get my scanner fixed or replaced. In the mean time, enjoy the pictures of my pictures. Ha!
Hi Kind Friends! Today I am sharing with you some peaks into Chris and I’s engagement photo session with Lopez Photo Studio.
Chris and I decided to take our photos at the park next door to our house instead of in a studio. It’s a really special place for us where we spend a lot of our time so I wanted to have it immortalized with these photos.
We got a little daring and climbed a tree!
They told us to act natural… So I jumped on Chris. Our positioning is not flattering at all but it was so funny that I had to have it printed.
In this Instagram preview from the shooting day last month you can see the quality a little better. I almost bought the bottom photo on the right because it reminds me of Romeo and Juliet but I wasn’t as pleased with it when I saw it blown up.
These two photos are my favorite!
The weather in Miami is very humid so the second we went outside I felt my hair frizz up. In particular though, I notice my extensions frizz up more than my actual hair does. Since my hair has grown to the length of my extensions I don’t think I’ll wear them during the wedding. I enjoy the added thickness but I don’t want to worry about my hair getting frizzy since the ceremony is outside.
The dress I chose from eShakti was incredibly comfortable. It honestly feels so comfortable that I could sleep in it. The style also reminds me a lot of dresses that Taylor Swift has been wearing lately. I felt sexy but sophisticated, my favorite combination. eShakti has a great catalog of dresses that fit into that category.
All in all I’m very happy with how these photos came out. I just wish they had sent me digital versions as well that didn’t include the word “proof” all over it so I could show them to you more clearly.
Where would you want your engagement photos taken?
