Honeymoon Day 1 – Exploring Epcot and Chris Sings Opera!

1

Hi Kind Friends! Today I am happy to launch Honeymoon Tuesday. For the next few weeks I’ll be sharing with you Chris and I’s honeymoon adventures from mid November. I can’t believe we’ve been married for over a month already! If you missed our first of two wedding videos, watch it here.

To start, on November 17th we had to run errands. Fun way to start the trip right? Basically we spent all day packing, turning in our marriage license, and last minute purchases needed for the trip. Thankfully my sister-in-law and her boyfriend were able to housesit so Pokiemans and Mustache were taken care of.

On November 18th, our first real honeymoon day we drove from Miami to Orlando. For this part of the trip we stayed at the Contemporary Resort. I’ve never been there before and it was a great experience. You’ll see a hotel tour later on in the vlogs.

Randomly Chris started singing opera on our drive over. It was hilarious. Driving for over four hours must have gotten to him. Make sure you watch the above clog to hear him singing.

Once we got to Epcot we spent most of the time in the World Showcase. I spent so much of our budget in the Japanese pavilion. Check out our haul from the trip to see what I got from Japan.

I’ve earned these ears now! #chribecca

One of my purchases included these ears. I’ve always wanted the white ears but it felt like something I should only buy if we were married so I was pretty ecstatic to get them now. I ended up only wearing them for an hour though because the veil in the back kept getting in the way. Oh well!

Overall it was a really nice first day. I in particular enjoyed eating at Via Napoli in Epcot’s Italian pavilion. They have the best pizza ever, the tomato sauce actually feels very hydrating! I don’t have a picture of the pizza but here are some of the other yummies we got on the first day. I wish I could go to Via Napoli more than once a year, it has such great Italian food and theming.

Stay tuned next Tuesday for the second vlog from our trip!

What do you think makes a vacation perfect?
