Chocolate Whip On My Tan Lines

Cocoa Brown Chocolate Whip Review

Hi Kind Friends! Hola Amables Amigos! Today I’m talking to you about two fun products from the company Cocoa Brown by Marissa Carter, the Chocolate Whip Oil-Free Body Moisturizer and the Tough Stuff No Nonsesne 3 in 1 Body Scrub (both c/o).

You guys know me, I’m not a tanner. But there are times when I want to warm up my complexion or add a natural glow to my look (especially when I am wearing dresses). This is where the Chocolate Whip comes in.

Cocoa Brown Chocolate Whip Review from Rebecca Kelsey Sampson

Chocolate Whip is a subtle brown lotion meant to be a tan extender that also helps ensure an even fade of your tan. If you don’t have a tan, it adds a subtle warm glow. Don’t let the dark color concern you, it’s subtle enough that people will think you look different but can’t explain why. It was incredibly hard to photograph so you’ll have to take my word for it. My favorite thing about this product is that it doesn’t have shimmer in it, making it a more believable color.

I don’t wear the Chocolate Whip everyday, rather only when I’m showing a lot of leg or more of my décolleté than usual. I’d also like to note it takes a few minutes to develop on the skin (to see the color) but it’s dry to the touch very quickly so you don’t have to wait to put on your clothes.

The Tough Stuff body scrub really is tough stuff! I wouldn’t recommend it for regular use but it is perfect if you are prepping for a tan. I currently use it on tougher areas of my body like my feet or on my body in general if I’ve noticed I’ve forgotten to exfoliate all month. Both the Tough Stuff and the Chocolate Whip have a pleasant but not overwhelming scent.

That is my Chocolate Whip review and my thoughts on the Tough Stuff exfoliator from Cocoa Brown. You can find Cocoa Brown in Ireland in dozens of stores (it’s very popular) and they just launched in the USA in Ricky’s NYC stores (over 30 stores up and down the east coast) or online on Amazon.com.

How often do you tan? Is it part of your regular beauty routine?
