NYX Tinted Brow Mascara Review

NYX Tinted Brow Mascara Review

Hi Kind Friends! Today I’m sharing with you a review of my new favorite brow product, the NYX Tinted Brow Mascara in Chocolate.

Tinted brow mascaras (basically super powered tinted brow gels) have been around for awhile but these past two years or so I’ve seen them really gain in popularity. You can find a tinted brow gel/mascara in any drugstore now.

But boy am I glad that the first purchase I made in this brow trend was from NYX.

NYX’s Tinted Brow Mascara cost $6.99 on and $4.90 on Does the NYX Tinted Brow Mascara last all day? Yes!

My camera couldn’t focus on the brush so here is a promo photo from NYX. I think the brush actually looks a lot better than this photo portrays, it is basically a small plastic mascara wand.

The NYX Tinted Brow Mascara tames your brows into shape while it fills them out with color deposits. To use the product, you apply it like you would any other brow gel. The only difference is you press the brush down more in the areas that are more sparse so that you can deposit more color there.

Before and after using the NYX Tinted Brow Mascara:

The product lasted on my brows all day, without any smudging. As for makeup removal, it’s definitely harder to take off than using brow powder. I personally put some olive oil on a cotton square and use that to take off both my mascara and this brow mascara.

Overall, this is now one of my favorite products to use. Since my brows are already massive, I only use this product. If you have thin, sparse brows you may need to use a powder before adding the mascara.

Have you tried a brow mascara before? Do you prefer it over filling them in with powder or pencil?
