Hello November! NaNoWriMo Goals and More

November NaNoWriMo goals

Hello there, Kind Friends. November, my absolute favorite month of the year, is at our door. Here I’m going to share with you all my monthly goals, as a way to keep myself accountable and to also inspire you to set your own goals.

Goals are instrumental to keeping your dreams on track. Please do tell me your goals in the comments so we can both help each other.

So, why is this my favorite month? Well, November is National Novel Writing Month. AKA NaNoWriMo.

During NaNoWriMo thousands of people around the world group together to write a 50,000 word novel in a month. That equals about 1,667 words in a day.

It’s a really exciting time for those of us that love goals and being creative. I participated in this event last year and was able to make it to 36,000 words while also getting married. I feel super excited about this achievement.

This year I’m participating again! Since this event is going to take up a lot of my free time, it is my main goal for this month. Make sure you are following me on YouTube to get weekly updates on this project.

I have two other goals this month, to focus on my health and the cleanliness of the house. I’ve printed out two freebie pages from the Day Designer website to help me keep track of what I’m eating and how active I’m being, as well as a weekly chore chart to help Chris and I stay on track of our usual house duties. I think having a list to check off daily is going to be really motivating.

As for last month’s goals, I was successful in drinking six glasses of water a day AND writing an hour a day (for the most part). I definitely did not stretch for five minutes a day. I honestly kept forgetting.

Maybe as I keep track of my activities this month I’ll be able to incorporate that goal back into my routine.

What goals do you have for the month?
