I was thinking today of my ever growing wishlist and a lightbulb went off in my head. If I had $100 to use however I wanted, what would I buy this second?
And thus, a new blog series is born. I’m thinking of creating a new list every month so that then you can see what I’m currently lusting over depending on the season and what is going on in my life. Most months I won’t be able to buy more than maybe one item on the list, since I’m in extreme budgeting and saving mode at the moment, but this way you’ll get to see how trends float in my blogger mind.
Ready? Here’s the list.

This highlighting palette is GORGEOUS. I’ve seen some demos on Tarte’s Instagram and it is just to-die-for. I’ve really been craving a highlight in my makeup lately and none of my current eyeshadows measure up. This is the most pricey item on my list, taking up almost all of my budget, so it may not be something I purchase right away.

2. Burt’s Bees BB Cream, $14.52
I am more of a fan of BB creams than foundations, especially since I have dry and sensitive skin, so the dewy look is up my alley. If I ever have problem areas, I just add a high coverage concealer over those spots. Burt’s Bees is one of my favorite companies so I’m just ecstatic they are branching more into makeup products. Out of all of the products I am considering on this list, this may be the one item I get right away.
3. Physician’s Formula #InstaReady Contour Trio BB Stick, in Blush and Bronze, $12.99 each
It may be a total splurge to want both of these contour sticks but honestly, I love the idea of these products. I love blush contours and would love a bronze contour in stick form, so both of these together are perfect for my everyday needs. I may not buy both, but I can definitely see me getting at least one of them when I have a drugstore coupon.
The only non-beauty item in the list this month, the first book launch from one of my favorite writing-centric bloggers. I am so happy for her first release and can’t wait to buy it as soon as I’m able.
Well, that was a lot of fun! I love putting lists together. If you have an upcoming splurge, I hope my current wishlist helps you chose what’s on that shopping list.
